What is the Imagination Library?

IMAGINE...FREE books every month for the children of Saline County! It sounds almost too good to be true, but by reading regularly with children during their preschool years, they receive the biggest boost toward a successful education they will ever get.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a unique early years book gifting program that mails a brand new, age-appropriate book to enrolled children every month from birth until five years of age, creating a home library of up to 60 books and instilling a love of books and reading from an early age.

FREE BOOKS FOR CHILDREN

Benton Kroger workers(L) Deborah Nicholas and (R) Annie Gipson receive a "Thank you Plaque" from Darlene Emmons, Imagination Library Board member. The workers at Kroger decided to create a fund raiser to help the ILSC and presented enough money to support 22 children. The children will receive a book each month for a year. We appreciate, Benton Kroger
