The number of children signing up for Imagination Library is growing every month. We need your help to ensure all 7,400 children from newborns to age 5 in Saline County receive a book.

$3000 supports 100 children for a year.
Imagination Library of Saline County is a tax-exempt organization. All donations go to the purchase of books. You can contribute in a number or ways:
Nationally, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is in all 50 states, in 950 communities shipping 7.65 million books in 2012 and over 50 million books since inception. Currently, 711,000 books are mailed monthly to the US, UK, Canada and Australia
In Arkansas, many counties participate in this wonderful program. Almost 8,000 books are mailed monthly to our state!
Saline County is one of those new commitments and we’re looking for sponsors. With your gift we can help make this happen!
The birthrate in Saline County averages about 1000 children per year. The budgeted number of children between birth and age 5 is 4000. The cost of full implementation is $100,000. This is approximately $25 per child per year…or only $2.50 per month per child.
This project is carried out by volunteers and the Dollywood Foundation pays for all administrative costs.
